about

Interesting project, this. How do you capture a band this hot, a sound this amazing, in just 80 minutes? Well, you can't, but you try anyway. You comb through years of live recordings, looking for the right tracks. Versions that nobody's heard. Songs they don't play anymore. Music that just means something special to you, or was part of a special time.

And you end up with this, a tiny sample from thousands of gigs, endless hours, countless miles, and a trail of happy fans and blown minds. On these tracks you will hear how the band has changed over the years. You'll hear Jason jamming with friend and mentor Pat Ramsey. You'll hear blistering solos and heartfelt vocals. And you'll hear some very happy fans.

More than just fans, this band has friends, all over, people who are glad to pitch in and do what they can to help out. You get friends like that by being a friend like that. Jason has been an especially good friend to our youth group, giving inspirational talks to the kids and performing a series of concerts to raise funds for our annual Habitat for Humanity project. You couldn't ask for a better friend.

A JRNB show is exhilarating. It's inspiring. It makes you laugh out loud at the sheer audacity of it all. You shake your head, thinking, "This can't be happening. Nobody can play like that".

And yet, they do. Aren't you lucky to be a part of that?
